Learn how to scan from an Android device using the Brother iPrint and Scan application.
Brother has created an application that will allow you to scan from your Android device. The Brother iPrint & Scan application will enable the wireless scanning and printing, this application is simple and easy to operate. On your Android device, go to Google Play store and download and install the APP, you will be able to save the document or the picture in the internal memory of your device, also will be able to edit the picture or the document from the operating system.
This App will work with the Brother printer only, and there is a version of this App available in Spanish. You can connect your device to the printer via a USB cable or wireless. With this tool, you can scan documents into PDF and JPG format, again, with App you will be able to print PDF documents, Word, Excel, Text and even Gmail email only format.
There is another APP called Brother Image Viewer that allows you to see the document and image scanned before printing them. To see the image, you must connect the device to the printer as we mentioned previously.
When the connection between the device and the computer is made, you will be able to see the scanned document and even directly print to this App also.
To view scanned documents from Brother Image Viewer follow the steps below:

To view scanned documents from Brother Image Viewer follow the steps below:
- Open the boot program from the mobile device
- Click on the home button that opened the brother image viewer program
- You will see the scanned documents, which you can share, edit and save.
