In this post, you will learn out to refill the 95 HP tricolor ink cartridge and save money.
The HP 95 tricolor ink cartridge gives great quality pictures and contains3 ML of ink for each color. This cartridge is a type HP Vivera and yield up to 330 pages when new and about 220 pages after being refilled.
Ink must be added very slowly during the refilling procedure to avoid damaging the ink cartridge if it is added too fast, the ink might go to the cartridge head and leak when it is not supposed too.
Step No. 1
Place the ink cartridge into a flat surface, where you can easily refill it. Then carefully remove the sticky label from the ink cartridge, the one with the number and the color, you will put this label at the end of the procedure so do not discard it.
Step 2:
Fill the three syringes with 3 ml of ink each, just use the amount of ink mentioned for each color and not more.
Step 3:
Now slowly apply the ink into the cartridge, you must do it very slowly allow the inner sponges to absorb all the ink. Make sure to check the colors disposition to inject each color into the proper spot.
Step 4:
After injecting the ink, please put the sticky label back to the cartridge. This label and the ditches at the top of the cartridge help the airflow needed for the ink to drop during the printing process.
When everything is complete, now you can print some test sheets to see how the cartridge is working.

Notes:
You should let the cartridge to rest for a couple of minutes before putting it back in the printer, letting it rest will allow the inner sponges to soak the ink. You can also shake the cartridge with the connector facing upward.

Before starting the refilling process, we recommended cleaning the cartridge contacts especially if you had spent a long time without using this cartridge.

- Remove the ink cartridge from the printer and clean its connectors
- Clean the printer connectors that get in contact with the cartridge connectors
- In case this does not solve the problem, leave the cartridge out of the printer and let the printer rest turned off for about 2 hours and then place the cartridge back to the printer and start printing.
