How to Refill 94 HP black cartridges

This post will teach you how to refill the HP 94 black Ink cartridges.

The HP 94 black ink cartridge is made of pigment based ink and has a high performance, the page yield can go up to 480 when the cartridge is new and reduced to 400 pages after being refilled with the proper ink (pigment ink).

Instructions to refill the HP 94 black cartridge

Before starting the refill process, we recommend cleaning the cartridge connectors especially if the cartridge has not been used for a long period of time. Cleaning the ink cartridge connectors will remove dry ink.

Step No. 1
Place the ink cartridge in a flat surface when you can easily refill it, it can be a table a chair(..). If you do not want an ink spill to damage the surface used; put an old piece of clothing on the surface before starting the refilling process.

Step No. 2
Now slowly remove the sticky label from the top of the cartridge, the one with the number and the color of the ink cartridge. Do not discard the label and try to it intact because you will need to put it back at the end of the procedure.

Step No. 3
When the sticky label removed, your cartridge should look the image above with several holes.
Slowly inject 5 ml of ink into one of those holes, you must do it very slow to allow the ink to spread in every spot of the cartridge and to let the inner sponges of the cartridge absorb it.

After completing the refilling process, you will need to print a test sheet to see how the ink cartridge is working.

Even if you have followed every step correctly, something can still go wrong if it is the case check the following steps.

If after refilling up the cartridge it continues having problems or flashings, try the following steps

• Remove the ink cartridge and clean the connectors with some wet napkin.
• Clean the printer connectors as well.
• If there is still no solution, turn the printer off and unplug it from the power supply for about 10 minutes and then plug it again and place the cartridge
