The HP 27 black ink cartridge is one of the best and smaller models ink cartridge, this cartridge has a good print quality and page yield up to 280 pages which will decrease a little bit with each refill. You must refill the ink cartridge very slowly for the ink cartridge inner sponges to absorb the ink needed. Below are the instructions to follow:
We recommend placing the ink cartridge on a flat surface (desk..) with a piece of old cloth covering the desk to avoid damaging the desk with ink.
Instructions to follow to refill the HP 27 ink cartridge:
Step #1:
Carefully remove the sticky label with the color and ink cartridge number, you can do so using a cutter. But make sure not to damage this label because we will put it back when the refill process is completed
Step #2:
Slowly inject the ink into the cartridge, this HP 27 black ink cartridge takes up to 15 ml of ink. You must do it very slowly for the ink to be spread all over the cartridge and be absorbed by the inner sponges.
This ink cartridge as more than one orifice, make sure to inject the ink through every hole. There is no specific quantity to be injected into each hole.
Step #3:
After the injection process, please put the sticky label back to the ink cartridge. You do not need to put extra protection to cover the holes, just use the sticky label, it will cover the holes and at the same time allowing the air to flow into the cartridge and assure a good printing quality.
Step #4:
Finally, use a piece of cloth or napkin to clean the ink cartridge and put it back into the printer, let it sat there for a couple of minutes before starting printing. We recommend printing several test sheets before printing any documents; if you have any question, please leave a comment in the section below and we will glad to assist you.
If the ink cartridge prints blurry documents or do not properly work, you might need to completely clean the cartridge. Please read this post: How to clean an ink cartridge.
