This post will teach you how to restore the Continuous Ink Systems installed on your Epson printers by following 9 easy steps.
Today Continous Ink System is very common, so common that companies such as Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Epson have added modern CISS printers to their catalogs.
This is means the consumers have to get adapted to this new system imposed by certain manufacturers. In my opinion, the Continous Ink System does not work as well as is supposed to, especially for the Canon printers; many consumers choose to adapt their printer to the continuous Ink system with home-installation CISS to save money.
The most popular printer's brand with this system are Canon, HP, Brother, and Epson today with are just going to talk about Epson.
The Continuous Ink Systems is a little bit complex to install or adjust, you have to make sure the hoses are placed at the same height to avoid a spill or a malfunction, these little bottles do not have inner sponges as the traditional ink cartridges, you can not refill a small quantity of Ink in a specific spot or color with this system but you are forced to change the whole load.
The Continuous Ink System on Epson printer can be reset easily, by resetting the printer back to factory mode; this process can be done directly from the card attached to the ink cartridge.
The Continuous Ink System does not need to be reset when a certain number of pages have been printed like with the regular Ink cartridge.
Resetting the CISS installed on the Epson printer is very simple, you just have to press one button

This picture shows how ink cartridges look when they’re installed on the printer, not replaced, we recommend you don’t press the restore button for more than a few seconds, and that you change the printer’s battery once a year.
