This post talks about another problem that occurs when refilling cartridges and its possible causes: the On/Off button on the printer blinking.
In this post, we are going to talk about one of the most common issues appearing when you use the refill ink cartridge. After following the instructions and correctly refilling your ink cartridge the power button of the printer might keep blinking when the refilled cartridge is installed.
Unfortunately this is a well-known scenario, this error happening because the printer did not recognize the cartridges, or most of the time the ink cartridge recycled must be damaged.
However in some cases the on/off button blinks because the printer connector does not recognize the ink cartridge connectors or the connectors are just dirty.
Here we have the print cartridge connectors, remember to clean them preferably with napkins before putting them back in the printer.

Cleaning the printer or the print cartridge connectors:
The simple solution to eliminate this error is to clean the cartridge and printers connectors. Put some water on a napkin or a toilette paper and gently clean the ink cartridge connectors, by doing the dirt will be removed from the connector and the printer will recognize the cartridge, then the error will disappear.
In case the first process does not work:
Unfortunately there is no alternate solution to this case, it seems like the ink cartridge has been completely worn out. The only solution to eliminate this error is to replace the cartridge with another one.
This issue persists because the ink cartridge is not able to heat glycerin in the ink and expand it throughout the paper sheet; when the printer starts heating the printhead up, the ink cartridge seems empty because it is not connected to the printer, therefore the circuit get damaged in this process due to the on/off blink error.
